Calculate the exact monetary value of a pip for any currency pair, lot size, and account currency.
1 pip = 0.0001 price movement. For example, if EUR/USD moves from 1.0850 to 1.0860, that is a 10-pip move worth $100.00 at your current lot size.
A pip (Percentage in Point) is the smallest standard price movement in forex. For most currency pairs, a pip is 0.0001 (the fourth decimal place). For JPY pairs, a pip is 0.01 (the second decimal place).
Pip Value = (Pip Size รท Exchange Rate) ร Lot Size in Units
For XXX/USD pairs (where USD is the quote currency), the pip value is always $10 per standard lot, $1 per mini lot, and $0.10 per micro lot.
For USD/XXX pairs, the pip value depends on the current exchange rate and needs to be recalculated as the rate changes.
